The Power of Blue
Consider a client who loves the color blue. This preference could suggest a water sign, but to design meaningfully, you must dig deeper. Ask how blue makes them feel. Suppose the client says blue makes them feel safe and at peace. You then discover that their bedroom was blue when they were nine, a time before their parents split, and they felt most secure in that home. This color is a positive trigger for them, a reminder of safety and happiness.
Designing for someone’s soul means filling their home with these positive triggers. You would identify the specific shade of blue that brings comfort and build around it, using contrasts and similar shades in a balanced way. This approach ensures the design is not only beautiful but also deeply personal and therapeutic.
